Ingredients

2 tbsp oat bran

1 tbsp Lupin Gold protein powder

½ tbsp chia seeds

2 tbsp cottage cheese

3 tbsp egg whites

Method

Blend, press, and flip.

  1. In a medium bowl, combine oat bran, lupin protein, and chia seeds. Mix well to evenly distribute the dry ingredients.
  2. Add cottage cheese and egg whites to the dry mix. Stir until a thick batter forms.
  3. If desired, thin slightly with a splash of water or milk for easier spreading.
  4. Line your sandwich press with baking paper on both sides to prevent sticking.
  5. Spoon the batter onto the bottom plate (make 2–3 small pancakes).
  6. Leave the lid open until bubbles form and the surface looks set (about 2–3 minutes).
  7. Close the lid gently and cook until both sides are golden brown (around 2 more minutes).
  8. Serve warm with a drizzle of honey, yoghurt, or berries for a balanced, high-protein meal.
