Do you sell protein powder samples?
No, and we would rather say so up front than send you hunting for a sample that does not exist. Lupin Gold comes in two sizes, 600g and 350g, and both are the same single-ingredient lupin protein isolate. If you want to try it before committing to the bigger pack, start with the 350g.
Why the 350g pack is the way to try it
A single sachet tells you how a powder tastes in a glass of water on one morning. Lupin Gold is unflavoured and made for food, so the real test is how it goes in your smoothies, oats and baking over a couple of weeks. At 20g a scoop, the 350g pack is about 17 scoops, which is enough to find out.
It also comes with our 30-day guarantee: open the pack, use it, and if it does not suit you tell us inside 30 days and we will refund the order. You do not have to send the rest back.
What is in the 350g pack
- One ingredient: lupin protein isolate. No sweeteners, flavours, gums or fillers.
- 18g of protein in every 20g scoop, which is 90g per 100g.
- All nine essential amino acids, with a PDCAAS of 0.96.
- European-grown lupins, refined in Germany and packed in WA.
It is the same powder as the 600g pack, so if you like it, the bigger pack is simply more of it.
How to try it over the first two weeks
To get a fair read on it, use it a few different ways rather than only in a shake:
- Smoothies. Blend a scoop or two with fruit and milk. Our protein recipes show how much protein each one lands, and the protein coffee is a good first one.
- Oats and yoghurt. Stir a scoop through overnight oats or a breakfast bowl.
- Baking. Swap some of the flour in pancakes or muffins.
- Savoury food. Stir it through soups and sauces.
Blend or stir it properly and it mixes in cleanly. It is not made to be shaken with water on its own.
